Estate sale haul! (Plus a surprising amount from the bins!)

My first estate-sale run in way too long turned into A LOT. After a morning of estate sales (RIP the one that lost its mind on prices), JR and I hit the Goodwill bins and the finds just kept coming: 70s dresses, a rainbow coat, vintage kids' pieces, a whole sewing kit, and enough denim to start a small rodeo. This one's raw, unedited, and very much a 'come waste time with me' kind of haul.

I'm so excited to show you all of the amazing things I got today. I hadn't even taken my purse off yet. Okay, this is terrible framing, but here we go. Uh, I went to several estate sales. The first one was pretty cool. I got um I got this cool Wow, cool, cool, cool. Uh this Lai uh top. It's like it kind of feels like the inside of a sleeping bag and is like insulated. I love her. Uh I got this robe. Very 70s dad robe. This one is actually J C Penney. Just navy with a nice little contrast. I like that. Um a Christmas tablecloth. Another winter holiday tablecloth. A sick calf tan. This one is vintage Sears. It's so lovely. I love these colors. Just admire them. And then, okay, then I went to Miss June's estate sale. I didn't get anything at the second one cuz they lost their damn minds on these prices. It was unhinged. But look at this little guy. She reminds me of like a punk rocker, like Brody from the Distillers or something. She's cute. You'll go up here for now. Uh, these pants are ridiculous. These are polyester. They're flared, but they're made to look like denim. They remind me of like jeggings and pajama pants, but they're like older than that. This is a vintage Memphis tea uh from the rodeo. That's our local transit authority. This one will go in the lights pile. Then we have Whoopsy Daisy. We got this gorgeous 1970s Henry Lee dress. The buttons. So darling.

Okay, we're just going to move like a little bit slower. Sam, a red belt for presumably one of these outfits in here. Oh gosh, I love this sweater. It's so mod and fun. The pockets have like side entries. I always hope I'll reach into a pocket and find something amazing. I found a cotton ball, so not this time. Maybe next time. This little jacket I cannot get over. It's MJ Seattle rayon lambsable acrylic. It's like a rainbow. And this one was hanging on to it. This little cutie patootie. Got the little [ __ ] bow. A little Judy Bond Junk. She's cute. She's classic. She's kind of goth. All things that I particularly enjoy. Um, this is funny. It's Kimberly Clark. Two years no injuries. They were very proud of those two injury-free years. And you know, I'm proud of them. I hope they went on to get many more years of no injury. Then we got his little baby outfit. This will go in um the baby show or the kids show that I'm doing on whatnot next month. And then I'm really excited about this. I can't wait to play with this with you guys. Um, just real quick, let's look inside, shall we? [clears throat] Ooh. Ah, we're going to make some [ __ ] manual button holes, baby. I don't know why I'm like this, but I do love a damn gadget, that's for sure.

Oh, and that's not all. There's still more stuff. Um, let's see. I got this entire sewing kit. And inside of it, there's a couple other things I grabbed. We got these little cuties. It's just um a clip. And also this delightful insect. I think it's meant to be a bee, but the wings are wrong. Don't say [ __ ] about my nails. And then in here, lots of thread, seam rippers, more thread. We'll have to like look through this together at some point. Um, there's a swimsuit pattern in there. There's some cool presser feet. There's a lot of noise happening there. I apologize, but uh I need more storage space for sewing stuff. So, this is great. And then, but wait, there's more. Jr. picked these up for me. We have some vintage stockings. Uh another gadget for me to play with. Do you remember these from back in the day? The tiniest little going to grandma's suitcase. Oh gosh, my voice was real squawky there. I apologize. Oh, and these sheets. I've already washed them, so I got to keep them separate. There's two. I'm absolutely obsessed with these and I know exactly what I'm doing with them. And then he picked all this up for me yesterday from the Goodwill bins. And there's a lot of good stuff here. So, this little jacket goes with this little skirt. And then also there's this skirt which doesn't quite match but is very similar. [snorts] And we got this little jacket. She's going to take a restoration bath and come out amazing. Um she is I don't know. She's definitely made out of silk. She's giving 60s but could maybe be 50s. Hard to say. I'll let you know when I know. Um, and also it has this belt that goes with it. This is child-sized and so stinking cute.

This is a pale yellow. I wonder if it's meant to be yellow or if it's meant to be white. The Oxy Bath will tell us. Uh, she's on a metal Merlin zipper and does not appear to have any brand tags. She does have the saddest little net lining in there. Definitely meant to be yellow, but still getting an oxy or a restoration. Um, this is a rainbow coat and it's darling. This is so precious. I'm guessing 70s at first glance. Anything in the pockets? No. It's quilted. Machine wash, warm, tumble dry. Inside's all janky. Oh, yeah. 70s. Here's her Union label. All right. Then next right up, we have this darling. Look at her metal back zipper. One of those little all-in-one pieces. Um, she was bought, not made, I think. Let's see. Mam Cell by Betty Carol. Ma'am, so she definitely needs to soak this one. Oh, look at her. You got to have a little bit of vision. We have a side zipper. It's a double talon. We have these little button friends. Just [ __ ] work of art. I love her. I love her. Then guys, keeps going. And he's at the bins today and said that there was more stuff from that same hole. This jacket is ancient. It was made by Adele Simpson or it belonged to Adele Simpson. That mid-century font. Are you kidding me? And then it Oh, yeah. I guess it belonged to her. And it was made by Philah. [laughter] Phil a how so sick. I'm going to look up a little history on this one. I really like it.

The Oh. Oh, get out of town. Get out. Okay. It's a FW Fisher original. Uh we got American Wave wool. Professionally dry clean only. It's heavy. It's got It's a kids. Oh my god. Anything in the pockets? Nay. And anything here? Nay. All right. Goes in this pocket. Then we have this one. Brown and black. Oh, look at these sweet little double pockets. And do they they don't unbutton. That's just decoration. Oh, it says Sue Brett and it's a little 60s Sue Brett. I [ __ ] My girl Sue, man, she made some amazing pieces. This one is so good. What kind of zipper is this? C L O B E Glo. Oh, globe. My god, I'm illiterate. It's okay. Then we have this just a little half-line skirt. This one, what's your taggy tell us? H retans Boston. And the back says Ret Boston. And this other side says the exact same thing. Those are just the little hang tags. She is half-lined. Amazing. Uh Jr. is on his way home now from the bins. I got me these blankets. So, I'm gonna have even more freaking stuff to show you. And then we're going to try to go to another estate sale. So, we have that. We have a show tomorrow to run some of this at 7:00 p.m. today, August 1st. Uh I have a handmade drop being released. I feel like there's probably more stuff I should tell you, but I don't know. Um, I wonder if I should edit this or just post it raw. We'll see. We'll see. I love you. See you soon, maybe.

And I'm back because we got more things. So many more things. We've got glasses. Many pairs of glasses, actually. These are so fun. These little sweethearts. These guys right here. I'm into it. I'm into it. And these bad boys right here. And then let's straighten you out a little bit. I think that'll do. And [snorts] then I don't Oh my gosh. Just we pop by the bins. So this one is 60s. There's this cute little kids piece. Oh, this needs to get soaked. This one is so gorgeous. She's definitely discolored, but nothing a little restoration can't fix. No brand tags, but truly a delight. And then we've got the cutie booty husband with his Kanye this cool kids talon-zip jacket. Oh my god, I think this one might be one of my very favorites. I mean, just look at her. She is on the Helen Whiting Inc. little 1960s number. Like, makes me sick. I love it so much. Oh, another cutie booty kids piece. You'll love to see it. [snorts] This one I bet comes out so nicely after she gets a little restoration bath. It has a tag on it. I don't know what this says. Um it maybe says stone 46 Martha pull something one to three gay and something like I have no idea. No idea. But I love it. And then we've got this cute little sweater top with it adorable scalloped neck. Big fan of her. She's 60s. No brand tags on that one. [snorts] Another darling little white dress with yellow accents. I feel like these all came from the same lady. And this lady loved her some white and some yellow. This mod baby. Oh, she is coming apart at the stitches. But I'll fix her because look, I love this.

These are all ones that my sweet husband got while he was out and about at the Goodwill bins and then we were going to go to an estate sale together, but it was closing. So, we went and ate delicious food instead and then went to the bins. This dress is made by Tony Lynn and the tag makes me feel like it's probably a good one. Um, one hour martinizing. What even is martinizing? This is so darling. This little shift dress with like the extra pleats in the back and then this darling built-in bow. I guess the word of the dress is darling. And then there's this one. A nice little off-white metal zipper. Who made you? She's fully lined. Maybe handmade. So good. She's going to clean up so nicely. This little jacket is probably meant to go with it by Marie Phillips. It's a size eight. Oh, that collar. So good. Then we got a stack of some more modern things. Well, no, still vintage, but you know, less vintage. I don't do mornings and night gown. Some little cut off Levi 505s on the orange tab. What would Jesus do? This one's good. Fruit heavy. It's tiny. This will be great in the kids show. Good little blank. Oh, not the Cowboys AOP for the kids show. That cute little Nike for the kids show right here. Got an Itchy face. Also got some basketball. Look at the guys on there. My honey finds all the best stuff. We got kids Adidas. We got Oh my god, this Taz one. Oh, and Bugs is on the back. More cool kids stuff. This one's a Hobie. Love that. It's like an 89 copyright. Some windbreaker pants. Nike with a zip pocket knee. Uh, more kids stuff. Adidas. Jesus. Some more orange tab 505s. These are 34x30s. More Levi's. Orange tab 550s. They're 28s. Look at these [ __ ] pants. They're Jord dash Texas 10 kids. Obviously, maybe not obviously. These are 560s. Cute little baggy orange tabs. Uh, student size 28x28. Then we got a sick Tennessee Vols crew. I don't even [ __ ] like the Vols, but that is cool. And then we got these guys. And then we got these guys.

And you're probably thinking, "Damn, Sammy, that's a lot. You got to be done by now." I'm not done, my friends. We have two more bags. We've got some cool new pillow cases that stink. We got this stinky old apron that will clean up so nice handmade blanket. Another handmade blanket. And another blanket. Then this, which is sterling silver, a little baby thing. Um, they didn't engrave the baby stuff in it though, so that's crazy. And then there's this doll. She's from the 1950s, maybe early 60s. She has a tag that says, "All new materials, made in Hong Kong." These shoes are late 1950s. They're made by Chandlers and they're a size six narrow. These shoes, I think they're Peruvian, but don't quote me on that. They are wool and moths have gotten a hold of them, but they have cool like leather bottoms. They were just too good to leave behind. And then this is so funny. Vintage 2003 Exhilaration. It's vintage. We are old, friends. We are old. A bit of elastic. I was out so I needed that. And a fun like unicorn horn of a candle because why not? No one can stop me.

And then it never ends. This is the last bag. Look, we got this 1960s I think. Maybe earlier than that. It's like a hunting vest. I got to look up a little bit more about this brand. It's York Arms Company. It used to be at 162 South Main in Memphis. How [ __ ] sick is this? Can't wait to look that up. These are Roxy Y2K board shorts. Get out of town. Look at these pants. Look at these pants. They are green. They are corduroy. They are magnificent. Who? They're like 90s, I think. Made by Pletchi. P O L E C I. Made in America. 100% cotton. Dope as hell. Uh, this is a modern dress made by Tara Orman Paris. It's just really pretty and it still had the tags and it's a brand that I saw went for money sometimes, so I grabbed it. Uh, this dope ass robe perhaps. Kimono. Let's see. What are your sleeves doing? No, just a robe. Look at this robe. Truly [ __ ] magnificent. Then we've got 2001, I believe. Let me double check. Yeah, summer 2001 Old Navy board shorts. We got this dead stock winter coat with six shoulder pads, a matching belt. It's purple and it still has its tags. And then conveniently this sweater that goes so well with it. And is that everything? Yeah, that's pretty much Oh, this clock and this clock. That's everything. It's all I [ __ ] Thanks for watching.
