Obsessed with this needle reminder gadget!

Summary

If you're ADHD and a little chaotic at the sewing machine like me, this one's a genuine game-changer. A sweet friend sent me the "So Remind Me, Forget Me Knot" — a tiny peel-and-stick sticker you put right on your machine, then set to whatever needle you've currently got loaded. No more sewing a project with the wrong needle and wrecking your fabric.

  • What it is: a peel-and-stick needle reminder for your sewing machine
  • Why it matters: never sew with the wrong needle again (RIP, ruined silk)
  • Bonus: perfect timing right after my needle-sizes post
  • Where to get it: sewremindme.com

Hi. Hello. Did we just solve ADD? We did not. But we did find a little hack for it. Hey, baby. How you doing? You already know I'm ADD. I'm chaotic. I can't keep myself together to save my life, so I am constantly putting the wrong things into my sewing machine and it's getting weird — and it's usually because of the wrong needle in there. But look at this. It's called a "So Remind Me, Forget Me Not," and the sweetest little baby angel sent this to me. All you do is peel this off, stick it to your sewing machine, and then set what needle you're using — that way you know, you don't forget, and you sew correctly. And how timely is this? Because I just posted that thing about needle sizes. So let's test her out. It literally goes on with just a sticker, and then you adjust it to whatever needle is currently in your machine for the project you're on.
